Privacy Policy for S&A Unified Home Care
Effective date: May 14, 2026
Overview
At S&A Unified Home Care, we are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect any personal data that you provide to us in the course of using our services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information from consumers:
- Personal Information: Name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, and any other data necessary to provide our services (e.g., medical history, insurance details).
- Usage Data: Information on how you interact with our website or mobile application, including cookies, IP address, browser type, and browsing history. -** Financial Information:** Billing and payment details related to the services you receive.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies on our website. You control whether the optional ones run.
What we set
- Necessary cookies. Required for the site to function — session continuity, language preference (
NEXT_LOCALE), selected office preference (sa_office, set only when you explicitly pick an office), CSRF protection on forms, and your consent decision itself (sa_consent). These are always on; the site doesn't work correctly without them. - Analytics cookies (optional). Only set if you opt in via the consent banner. We use:
- Google Tag Manager (https://tagmanager.google.com) — a container that we use to load analytics tags such as Google Analytics 4. We are not running Google Analytics yet, but if we add it (or any other analytics tag) it will load through GTM and cookies may include
_ga,_ga_*,_gid,_gat_*,_gcl_*. - Microsoft Clarity (https://clarity.microsoft.com) — session replay and heatmaps. Helps us see which pages confuse visitors. Cookies include
_clck,_clsk. We use Clarity's Strict masking mode, which masks all text and form inputs in session recordings — we don't see what you type into our forms in Clarity.
- Google Tag Manager (https://tagmanager.google.com) — a container that we use to load analytics tags such as Google Analytics 4. We are not running Google Analytics yet, but if we add it (or any other analytics tag) it will load through GTM and cookies may include
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies at this time. If we add them in the future, we'll update this policy and prompt you for a fresh consent decision.
Error monitoring
We use Sentry (https://sentry.io) to log application errors so we can fix bugs. Sentry runs on every page load regardless of your cookie consent — error monitoring is a legitimate-interest activity under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Sentry captures error details (URL, browser type, stack trace). We do not attach identifying information about you (no name, email, or user ID), and our Sentry SDK version omits your IP address by default.
Your choices
- Cookie banner. On your first visit you'll see a banner where you can Accept all, Reject all, or Customize. Your choice is remembered for 12 months in the
sa_consentcookie. - Cookie preferences link. A "Cookie preferences" link in our footer reopens the banner at any time so you can change your mind.
- Browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Note that blocking necessary cookies will break parts of the site (forms, language preference).
- Tool-level opt-outs. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing Google's official opt-out browser add-on. For Clarity, opting out of analytics cookies on our banner stops Clarity from loading.
Consent records
When you make a consent decision we log it to our database for audit and compliance purposes. The log includes a randomly-generated browser ID (not linked to your identity), your IP address, user-agent string, the locale you were viewing, the URL where you decided, and your choice (analytics on/off). This is separate from analytics — it's a compliance record we keep so we can demonstrate consent if asked. We do not use it for analytics or marketing.

- To communicate with you regarding your care, appointments, or billing.
- To comply with regulatory requirements.

4. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. We use encryption technologies, secure servers, and regular audits to ensure your data is safe.
5. Sharing Your Information
